Gia Graduated from Purdue University with a BA in Sociology and an AD in Nursing. While working at IU Medical Center she completed her BSN and MSN in Med Surg Nursing with a minor in Education. After teaching nursing for five years she returned to academics and completed the Nurse Practitioners Degree at IU Medical Center. She has worked at various Women's Health Clinics and nursing education programs throughout the Indianapolis area. Her vast education and working experience emphasizes her greatest passion: education on a one-to-one patient care basis.

As a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Gia helps as support staff for Dr. Bonaventura in the care of a women's on going gynecological needs. Having a strong back ground in education it's her goal to make sure the patient is more informed about diagnosis, all non invasive test and procedures and her continued "Woman's Health" well-being!

She's a mother of six, grandmother, post-menopausal and feisty! On a hot day in July you may see her kayaking down the White River with friends and a little wine and cheese!
